Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

Your Bonsai World Membership is an annual subscription that renews automatically each year. This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel your membership and what happens when you do.

To cancel: email us at info@membership.bonsaiworld.org at least 7 days before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.

2. How to Cancel

To cancel your Bonsai World Membership, please send an email to info@membership.bonsaiworld.org including:

  • Your full name
  • The email address used at registration
  • Your Member ID (found on your Membership Card or confirmation email)
  • A brief note confirming your cancellation request

We will process your cancellation within 3 business days and send you a written confirmation.

3. When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current membership period. This means:

  • You retain full membership status until your current annual period expires
  • You will not be charged on the next renewal date
  • Your physical Membership Card remains valid until the expiry date printed on it
  • No partial refunds are issued for the unused portion of a membership period, unless you cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period (see our Refund Policy)

4. Cancellation Before Renewal

To avoid automatic renewal, your cancellation request must be received at least 7 calendar days before your renewal date. Cancellation requests received after renewal has been processed will be treated in accordance with our Refund Policy.

5. Automatic Renewal Reminder

We will send you a renewal reminder email at least 14 days before your annual membership renews. This email will include your renewal date, the amount to be charged, and instructions on how to cancel if you do not wish to renew.

6. Cancellation by Bonsai World

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend a membership in the following circumstances:

  • Provision of false, inaccurate, or misleading information at registration
  • Misuse of the membership or breach of our Terms and Conditions
  • Failure to complete a valid payment
  • Any activity that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or harmful to Bonsai World or its community

In the event of cancellation by us for reasons other than breach, we will provide a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your membership period.

7. Reactivation

If you have cancelled your membership and wish to rejoin, you are welcome to purchase a new membership at any time at membership.bonsaiworld.org. A new Member ID will be issued.
