1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website membership.bonsaiworld.org and your purchase of a Bonsai World Membership, operated by Kali Web Conversion SRL, VAT No. RO40667390, registered in Romania ("we", "us", "our").

By placing an order or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. The Membership

The Bonsai World Membership is an annual subscription priced at $20 USD per year. It includes:

• A unique Member ID registered in the Bonsai World member database
• An official, personalised physical Membership Card bearing your full name, Member ID, and annual validity date, shipped to your provided address
• Recognition as an official member of the global Bonsai World community
• Your contribution directly supports the Bonsai World editorial project and the Bonsai World Guide Awards

3. Eligibility

To purchase a membership you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete personal and shipping information
• Hold a valid payment method accepted by Stripe

4. Ordering and Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. We accept major credit and debit cards. Your membership becomes active immediately upon successful payment. You will receive a confirmation email at the address provided.

Prices are displayed in USD. We are not responsible for currency conversion fees charged by your bank or card provider.

5. Renewal

Memberships are billed annually. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before your renewal date. Renewal is automatic unless you cancel before the renewal date in accordance with our Cancellation Policy. By providing your payment details, you authorise us to charge the annual fee on each renewal date.

6. Shipping of Physical Card

Your physical Membership Card will be produced and dispatched within 7–10 business days of your payment being confirmed. We ship worldwide. Estimated delivery times vary by destination:

• Europe: 5–10 business days
• USA / Canada: 7–14 business days
• Rest of the world: 10–21 business days

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or incorrect addresses provided at checkout.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on membership.bonsaiworld.org — including text, images, graphics, logos, and the Membership Card design — is the exclusive property of Kali Web Conversion SRL and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Reproduction, distribution, or use of any content without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kali Web Conversion SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the membership or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the current membership period.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania and applicable EU regulations. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the membership after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
